seriously. why the fuck. am i in jc? my mum plans to retire in five years or less. that's like 75% of the family income gone. i'd have to be working by then. but since i'm in jc now i'd still be in a uni then (well duh! like an A level cert would get me a job) polytechnic for 3-4 years and then work and then maybe a while later, uni education that should have been my path why the shit am i where i am now?
we'll be moving into a smaller flat and selling our current one but how long do you think the profit from that would last? studying in a local university would already take a major chunk out of it so it's goodbye to my dream of studying overseas even IF i were to get a scholarship am i just to pack my bag and leave my parents in singapore? surviving on the 'steady' income provided by my dad's freelancing?
the more i think about it, the more tempted i am to drop out of jc to go to poly. it would solve so much of my problems so what if the uni rate is low so what
so what if being a poly graduate means i'll be stuck with a low/moderate paying job for the rest of my life unless i upgrade my education so what
i love life it's so freaking fair but who am i to complain?many people are worse off right?
